This is a loose idea, but I think it could have interest from others - could the organizer open/close registration, build teams (By name - like "party animals") and then let registrants self select the team they're going to join (like codeless scoring, but a step further where each individual chooses the team they want to join)?

I'm not certain the extend of this use case, but some very casual groups want to use digital scoring and scoreboards, but they form teams on the first tee or at the clubhouse before they head out.

I'm guessing this is easier said than done, but if it's not that complicated - it could be a nice feature to extend to organize on the fly type events.
