We occasionally use a par/bogey format for our events where players are playing against the course. Typically, a player gets a point if they score a net birdie or better (hole won), zero points for a net par (hole tied) and -1 point for net bogey or worse (hole lost). The player with the most points at the end of the round wins. We've been setting this up in LT as a Stableford, assigning points as specified above. This works great, but thought it would be easy to add the format for courses who aren't familiar with it. It is a USGA recognized format: https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/handicapping/roh/Content/rules/Committee%20Content/USGA/LG_R7g4.htm#:~:text=The%20competition%20is%20won%20by,and%20subtracting%20the%20holes%20lost )
